Sherman Hardy is a proud Prince George’s County small business owner and current resident of Clinton, MD. He has been a civil and public servant for the majority of his adult life. Sherman enlisted in the United States Air Force right after graduating high school where he became a military policeman. It is there that he learned and made their Core Values (Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in all we do) an intricate part of his life. After leaving the Air Force, Sherman went on to work for the Internal Revenue Service, the Highway Patrol and later as an Operations Manager in Iraq.
Sherman currently is a Realtor and sits on various committees within the REALTOR Associations. He previously served on the Prince George's County Association of Realtors Housing Affordability Committee where he assisted in the development of classes to educate his colleagues on affordable housing initiatives. He is a current member of the Maryland Realtors Legislative Committee where he tirelessly fights for the fair rights of Prince Georgians. Sherman was also elected and became the youngest Board of Director for Prince Georges County Association of Realtors.
Sherman has worked on various campaigns for elected officials (State and Federal) and has remained active in his community, advocating for positive and practical improvements in the condition of all Prince Georgians and Marylanders.
